Based in Manchester, I make unique hand-crafted mosaic art. Over 10 years ago, I became fascinated by this medium where tradition and modernism are brought together. I love the tactile feel of mixed-media mosaics achieved through combining a range of traditional and modern materials such as smalti, millefiori, semi-precious stones, émaux de Briare, vitreous glass, beads and ceramics. Mosaic art offers endless possibilities of playing with colour, texture and light reflectance, which makes it a fascinating medium for self-expression. I have recently started incorporating my own hand-made fused glass inserts into my work. All my pieces are unique and original designs.
